Seth has worked as an intern in the New York State Attorney General's Office, as a civil litigation and appeals associate at a major Florida law firm, and as a solo practitioner in New York practicing in the areas of criminal defense, business start up, and general practice. 

As an Off-Site Associate, Seth's clients practice primarily in the areas of criminal law, family law, employment law and a range of general practice areas. Seth's specialty is drafting argumentative documents, including motions, memoranda, and appeals. He also enjoys researching complex or ambiguous issues of law. 

As a law student, Seth became fascinated by constitutional law and in particular a line of cases  that deals  with elements of crimes, sentencing factors, and burdens of proof.  Perhaps the most famous case in the line is  Apprendi v. NJ.  Lawyers that deal with capital sentencing may also recognize Ring v. Arizona. Seth wrote both his law review note  and  case comment on the subject.

Seth has a keen interest in technology and writes about Law Office Tech at the Off-Site Law Center.  He has also written a book for law students  titled "Imposing Black and White on a Future of Gray: Learning to think like a lawyer" available at www.blackandwhitelegal.com.
